Brittany is a general psychologist with experience working in schools, tertiary institutions, and private mental health settings with adult and adolescent clients. Brittany takes a counselling approach to psychology prioritising collaboration with the client to make changes for their long-term wellbeing.
Brittany believes therapy is about providing a supportive space for the client to explore the issues they are facing. This includes drawing the connections between their past and present experiences, safely confronting difficult topics, and understanding how this impacts their life today.
Brittany’s areas of interest and experience include: depression, mood and anxiety disorders, LGBTQAI+ issues, body image issues, relationship difficulties, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, grief and loss, trauma, study difficulties, and issues facing international students.
