Claudia worked as a Teacher in kindergartens and primary schools, before undertaking further study in psychology. Claudia has a special interest in childhood development and a passion for working with children who are identified as neuro-diverse which include: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, learning disabilities and intellectual disabilities.
Claudia believes in the importance of early intervention and working in the context of the family system. Claudia takes a strengths-based approach to her work and focusses on empowering individuals within the child’s support system. Claudia offers comprehensive psychological assessments in the behavioural, cognitive and educational domains.
In addition a to her work at the Talking Cure Psychology Group, Claudia also works in the family violence sector as a senior practitioner.
